Deprotection of p-Methoxyphenyl Pyranosides By Anodic-Oxidation

Abstract

A general method for removal of p-methoxyphenyl groups from the glycosidic position of various protected mono-, di-, and trisaccharides by anodic oxidation (1.55 V, Bu₄NPF₆, CH₃CN, H₂O) is reported.
