Timothy Dore Joins the Chemistry Faculty

The Department of Chemistry at Tufts University is pleased to announce the appointment of Dr. Tim Dore as Professor of the Practice (part-time). Dr. Dore has served on the chemistry faculties at the University of Georgia and NYU Abu Dhabi, held director-level roles overseeing platform chemistry programs in industry, and runs an active consulting practice in the biotech industry. He brings deep expertise that will strengthen Tufts University’s growing MS programs through student mentorship, a research methods course, and partnerships with Boston-area biotech and pharmaceutical companies to create opportunities for Tufts students.

Dr. Dore earned a BSCHEM at the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill and a PhD in chemistry at Stanford University. He completed postdoctoral studies at the Howard Hughes Medical Institute at the University of California, San Diego.
